Rat Terrier dogs are intelligent, active and loving dog breeds. They are ideal farm dogs and loyal hunting companions. They do not like the strangers and take time to get mixed-up with them. They shed occasionally.

They are found in small to medium size. They have deep chest, strong shoulders, solid neck and powerful legs. They have big, erected ears from the body proportion.

Temperament: Alert, intelligent and energetic

Height: Males 16 to 19 inches, Females 16 to 17 inches (Size varies from small to medium)
