The coat is short, measuring between 1.3 and 2.5 cm in length. The standard coloring is bicolor, in which the white color is combined with any other accepted color for the breed, such as chocolate, black, blue, havana, among others. The darkest regions are: body (from the middle portion of the trunk to the tail), hind limbs, belly, cheeks and ears (resembling a mask). The rest must be white.
As it is a short-coated breed, brushing once a week is enough, but during shedding, the ideal is to brush it at least twice a week. The other necessary care is the same for any other rabbit. The recommended thing when purchasing a rabbit as a pet is to take it for an orientation consultation with a doctor specializing in unconventional pets (wild and exotic) to learn how to raise it properly.
