Coat

Its coat is soft, dense and wavy, the kind that makes you want to be smoothed for hours and hours. The hair on the face is his trademark and needs qualified labor to be trimmed without the pet later being confused with a Poodle or Schnauzer. A clean and tidy coat takes a bit of work, as brushing needs to be daily and bathing every six weeks. The color is blue in the most different shades, with or without black tips.

Pet Profile

Taking Care of a Kerry Blue Terrier

Only look for a Kerry Blue Terrier if you are really willing to face a busy life with him. And don't think that a few minutes of play and a walk around the block will be enough to satisfy the pet, he needs at least three good walks a day - rain or shine. A peaceful life is definitely not going to make your pet happy.
